Synopsis The author writes. I believe anyone can harvest a crop of liquid or strained honey with some degree of success, but it takes more knowledge of the fundamentals of bee biology and behaviour to achieve the satisfaction that comes with a good crop of honey in the comb. The individual with only one, two, or three colonies of bees will enjoy producing comb honey without the necessity to invest in extractors, tanks. knives etc, that are essential in extracting and bottling even a small crop of liquid honey.
